L-Trenching and Concrete Mow Strips


The most effective solution is installing a "Concrete Mow Strip" directly under the fence line. A 4-inch wide strip of concrete prevents the dog from finding a soft spot in the dirt. Alternatively, we can install "L-Trenching," which involves burying a section of chain-link mesh horizontally under the ground, so when the dog tries to dig, they hit an impassable wire barrier.
